Policies
At skinSPArations, I respect and value your time as well as mine. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows me to offer your spot to someone else who may be waiting.
How the Notice Works: Your 24-hour notice period starts at the time of your appointment. For example: If your appointment is at 3:00 PM on Thursday, please cancel or reschedule by 3:00 PM on Wednesday.
Reminder: I send an email and text confirmation 48 hours before your appointment so you have plenty of time to make any changes.
Late Cancellations & No-Shows:
If you cancel within less than 24 hours or miss your appointment, you may be charged a fee equal to 50% of your appointment cost or lose your booking deposit.
If this occurs more than once, future late cancellations or no-shows will result in a charge of 100% of the appointment cost.
For those with pre-paid packages, missing an appointment or cancelling late will result in one session being deducted from your package.
If late cancellations or no-shows happen multiple times, I may require full payment upfront to secure future bookings.
Examples:
If you have a 15-minute appointment and arrive 10 minutes late or more, it will be considered a no-show and your session will be forfeited.
For a 60-minute facial, arriving 10 minutes late will result in a reduced treatment time, but the full session fee will still apply.
Life Happens: I understand that emergencies arise and will do my best to accommodate you if something unavoidable comes up.

You can also email me at skinSPArations@gmail.com. Please note that cancellation messages sent via social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) will not be accepted and will be treated as no-shows, incurring the cancellation fee.
skinSPArations requires a valid credit card to be kept on file for all appointments. Please note that your card will not be charged or placed on hold simply for booking purposes.
Our scheduling and payment system requires this information to secure your appointment, and appointments cannot be made without a credit card on file.
By providing your credit card information, you authorize skinSPArations to charge your card for:
No-shows
Violations of the cancellation policy
Recurring membership feesskinSPArations requires a valid Credit Card to be on file for ALL appointments. Your credit card will not be charged or have a "hold" amount. Our scheduling and POS system requires this and cannot make an appointment without one.
By entering your credit card information, you are authorizing skinSPArations to charge the card on file for no shows, violated cancellation policy, and reoccurring memberships.
skinSPArations does not provide refunds for:
Services rendered
Training classes provided
Gift cards or certificates (please see the Gift Certificates & Gift Cards policy)
Products:
A refund or store credit will be issued for allergic reactions only if proof is provided via photo or by returning the product to the studio.
Refunds apply to products purchased within 14 days and with at least 90% of the product remaining.
Faulty products will be replaced within 14 days of purchase, provided no more than 90% of the product has been used.
This policy does not apply to broken or damaged packaging, only to genuine product defects.
If you are coming to an appointment with children, please ensure you have someone to supervise them during your visit. skinSPArations does not provide staff supervision for children during your treatment.
I do make exceptions for well-behaved young children to remain in the treatment or waiting room during certain procedures, but this must be discussed and approved in advance.
To keep everyone safe and comfortable, I ask that only the client be present in the treatment room during services. My studio is cozy, and the waiting area has limited space, so I appreciate you coming solo and keeping visits intimate—it helps me give you my full attention and care.
Non-Refundable
All package purchases are final sale and non-refundable.
If you are unable to complete your package before the expiration date, the amount paid will be credited toward a full-price service, based on the pro-rated value of unused sessions. (Example: Buy 2, Get 1 Free Package – Amount paid: $100. If 2 sessions are used, the remaining balance of $33.33 will be applied toward a full-price service.)
Expiration
Packages must be used within 6 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
Unused sessions after the expiration date will be forfeited.
Non-Transferable
Packages are for one individual only and may not be shared, transferred, or gifted.
Scheduling
All appointments must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
It is recommended to schedule multiple sessions at the time of purchase to ensure availability.
Skin Journeys and treatment series packages must follow the recommended schedule for optimal results. Delayed or missed sessions may impact outcomes and cannot be guaranteed outside of the suggested timeline.
Cancellation Policy
Our standard 24-hour cancellation policy applies to all package appointments.
Missed or late-canceled appointments will result in the loss of that session from the package.
Blackout Dates
Packages may not be started or scheduled entirely during major U.S. holiday weeks or blackout periods, unless your recommended treatment plan naturally overlaps with those dates. In such cases, adjustments will be made to maintain your treatment schedule. Regular rates apply for new bookings during these high-demand periods.
Service Substitutions
Packages apply only to the services listed at the time of purchase. Substitutions are not allowed unless approved by management.
If a substitution is allowed, the difference in price must be paid at the time of service.
Price Adjustments
Package pricing is guaranteed at the time of purchase. Future price increases will not affect purchased packages.
Redemption & Usage
Gift certificates and gift cards are redeemable only for services or retail products at skinSPArations.
They cannot be used to purchase additional gift certificates or gift cards.
Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable
All sales are final. Gift certificates and gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
They are non-transferable and may not be resold.
Expiration
Gift Cards: Never expire.
Gift Certificates: Valid for 6 months from the purchase date unless otherwise noted.
Expired certificates cannot be redeemed in full; however, 50% of the original service value may be applied toward a different service at the current service rate. (Example: If your certificate was for a facial and you prefer a waxing service, 50% of the facial value can be applied to the waxing service.)
Booking & Appointments
Appointments must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
A valid gift certificate or card must be presented at check-in/out.
Cancellation Policy
A 24-hour cancellation notice is required for all appointments.
Missed appointments or cancellations within 24 hours may result in forfeiture of the gift certificate or card value.
Standard24-hour cancellation and no-show policy applies.
Partial Redemptions
If the total value of the service exceeds the gift certificate or card amount, the balance must be paid at the time of service.
Any remaining balance will remain on the gift card for future use until the expiration date.
Lost or Stolen Cards
Gift certificates and gift cards are treated as cash and will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or damaged.
skinSPArations is not responsible for unauthorized use.
Promotional & Discounted Certificates
Promotional or discounted gift certificates (including those won in giveaways) may have restrictions, such as limited service eligibility or blackout dates.
Blackout dates: Gift certificates and gift cards cannot be redeemed within 7 days before and during major U.S. holiday periods, including but not limited to:
Valentine’s Week (Feb 10–14)
Thanksgiving Week (Nov 24–30)
Christmas & New Year’s Week (Dec 15–Jan 1)
If you wish to schedule an appointment during these times, standard rates apply and must be paid via cash or credit card at the time of service.
These cannot be combined with other offers or discounts.
